Garden Nursery and Farm Shop in Southam
This is a small, family run retail/wholesale nursery established in 1991 and based on the A423.
Owner Peter Healey (N.D.Hort.) has over thirty years of experience in the horticultural industry, and has learned the best techniques and growing mediums to promote healthy growth.
He started the business from scratch, turning it from just a field with a shed into a thriving garden nursery, which incorporates a farm shop selling handmade jams, pickles and honey. Also, in season, freshly picked raspberries are grown on site.
We are very much a retail nursery as opposed to being a garden centre. Over 90% of plants are grown on site in our own compost containing controlled release fertilizer to produce slow hardy grown plants with high survival rates.
We select newer and established varieties for the best garden performance, rather than what looks good at point of sale or is cheaper to grow. Although we are all about garden plants, we do offer a few add-ons to give customers extra choice, such as compost and planting sundries like garden tools, ornamental aggregates, patio pots and ornaments.
If you would like to find out more about our garden plants, the farm shop or have any questions about our garden nursery, why not give us a call today?
